This the character design I did of Cassie Sandsmark the second Wonder Girl for Teen Titans Go #54.

We went for a younger, spunkier type of Wonder Girl for TTG.

I was unfortunately not able to draw the issue she appeared in (though we were able to work her into our last issue, #55, so i could get a chance to draw her in action).

Wish we got to do more with her!

Hmmm, you know with the recent mini-episodes and a seemingly relaxed hold on airing Wonder characters in animated form (due to some undisclosed legal issues that we'll never know the full story behind) it seems rational to let Cassie cameo in one of those minis.

And well I'm musing on "what ifs" why not a Wonder Woman animated series? If something like Striperella can get green lit, why not one of DC's main three? Make Steve Trevor an incompetent but lovable sidekick, the episodes practically write themselves.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeck Yeah! Teen Titans was, and is , the best incarnation of the DC comic universe. It was also the place where a character designer, graduate from the Joe Kubert's School of Art , named Derrick J. Wyatt, made his debut. Today, he's best known for his contribution to the TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED series, as well for Scooby Doo, Mistery Inc.; Green Lantern, and the upcoming Ben 10 series, for 2012.

Man, your artwork deserves a place in my collection of favorites. :P

I love it! You gotta make some of the justice league heroes and heroines in TTG form! I mean, you did so good with Secret! I would really like to see Ice (even though she's not part anymore...)! I absolutely adore the too-big gloves!!!

Actually, this is the Teen Titans Go version of Cassandra Sandsmark, the current Wonder Girl sidekick to Wonder Woman.

She's got Hermes' sandals on over her sneakers...GOD, I loved Cassie so much better back in her John Byrne-through-Young-Justice days, back before she became yet ANOTHER member of the Blonde Legacy Jailbait Brigade.

...no, seriously, how many buxom teenage blonde superhero apprentices ARE there in the DCU these days, anyway? I became a fan of Mary Marvel and Cassandra Cain partially because they were at least brunette...so I'm petty, sue me.
