Have you read the new Thor series yet?

I was never a huge fan of Thor. I liked the character enough. Loved Walt Simonson's run on Thor in the 1980's. Awesome art! If you haven't seen it yet, there's a Walt Simonson Visionaries tpb that collects a bunch of them.

Anyhow, I picked up the new Thor series, because I really like Olivier Copiel's art. But I didn't expect to really get into the story!
They are doing some cool stuff with the characters and I love where they decided to put Asgard.

So, I was doing some sketching. Tried my hand at Thor and his new costume. And ended up with this full size inked piece.

I'm currently collecting Wal Simonson's run in singles! Thor's my favorite character and you, sir, have drawn an awesome Thor.

Now i normally don't comment directly on art pieces(specially since you professionals are mostly too busy to read them) but this one... THIS ONE... is freakin' breath taking!!!

I've been a fan of yours since Young Justice and a mega fan of that book (until they turned the top teen into a muscleless panzy. Sorry, he was my favorite character in the whole series!)

And Thor has always been one of my favorite heroes ever, even though i never followed his series. This is without a doubt, hands down, the best sketch i've ever seen in the history of the character!!! You even beat some of my favorite artists such as Joe Mad, Ed McG and plenty of others. That's no small feat to accomplish!

OUTSTANDING, OUT OF THIS WORLD, MEGA MONUMENTALY STELLAR JOB, Todd!!! Very very well done!!! If you were in my face, i'd stand up and clap! THANK YOU
